As Jeff Staple explains in the intro voice-over; Timberland Construct:10061 is a collaboration with Daniel Bailey of Concept Kicks. Every 6 months a hand-picked team of innovators and creators are invited out to the Timberland factory in the Dominican Republic to rethink every aspect of the boot-making process and develop an exciting new series of boot concepts.
The videos on this page are from the first and second seasons of this project, the theme for Season 1 was ‘Boots Beyond Borders’ and the second was ‘Nature Needs Heroes’.
We were brought on board by creative agency KesselsKramer to produce a range of video content, including an intro film, designer features and a longer format documentary film for each season.
This short mini documentary film displays and explains what the project and processes were in season 2 of this continuing project, this time focusing on nature and innovative ideas for the future.
For season 2, we produced 20 short shoe feature videos like this, documenting a different shoe concept each time. This example is for Concept 030 by Jeff Staple.
Our season 1 mini doc was a deeper dive into the Construct 10061 initiative, documenting the birth of the project in London and following the team out to the Dominican Republic.
